At the Bariatric Counseling Center of San Antonio, we’re here to help you by providing the therapy, counseling and support you need to embrace the behavioral changes that will help ensure that the weight you take off, stays off. We focus on changing the mind which create a chance to change food/eating behaviors.
Our comprehensive outpatient program will help you adopt new tools, improved health, diet and personal habits that will help keep weight off and put you on the path to a happier, more balanced life. For ultimate success, it’s necessary to make certain that your behaviors, habits, attitudes, family and other aspects of your life are all aligned in support of your efforts to lead a healthier life.
The Bariatric Counseling Center offers a full range of nutritional, clinical, therapy and psychological counseling services. Sessions cover everything from nutrition, movement and cooking to life coaching, family counseling, and relapse prevention.
In each session, a meal is prepared that shows you how you can accommodate and embrace healthier substitutions, while still enjoying a satisfying, nutritional meal and learning to eat from a mindful foundation. Clients share a common struggle, and their bond and mutual understanding help foster a spirit of healing. At the end of our program, you will have a better understanding of food, diet, health, and ultimately yourself.
